After Alex, our Cairn terrier, died in 2009, I started taking photos of some that I've met on my walks, and it's become a habit. It assuages the loss while dulls the memories of the cost of vets.

Owners are wont to take off the leashes, so you'll have to excuse that as part of some of the photos. Remember, this is a hobby. Remember, too, the owners only see a face. They're "parents."

My kids' dogs are there as well. They're not "nature photography" as was originally intended for this site, but dog and cat lovers, enjoy.
