All flowers found by lakes or streams or roadsides or in meadows, and about 70 percent came from Mt. Diablo. Amazing what Mother Nature can do without us. If you can ID, please do. Thanks to Timothy Evans for ID-ing at least a third of these, and thanks to John Muir Laws, author of "The Laws Field Guide to the Sierra Nevada," for figuring out two of the most difficult flowers I've encountered (in the Sierras, of course).
