A trip to Mt. Rainier in Washington state took us all the way down the Oregon and California coasts as well as a couple of nature reserves. These are not in chronological order. In fact, they're not in any particular order. Keeps folks like me with short attention spans enthralled.

Competition was fierce ... among the people trying to do what they were asked not to, but we at least found a few conifer seeds on one of the hikes. They last long enough to get two shots and a lot of complaints (see next photo.)
