Ethan Winning > Been Watching this Red-tailed Hawk and his Mate for about 4 Years This is a much lower branch on another tree where he feeds after making a kill.
Ethan Winning > I Know RTHs are Common But I still think they rather regal birds. Maybe they just know how to pose, and I like to think it's for me. I usually find these two in the top of the pines overlooking the sale marsh and a place where pigeons are more plentiful than at St. Mark's Square. They have no fear of us - well, you take a look at a group of birders: do they look threatening???? Hiking sticks, binocs, cameras, food, funny hats, and constant jabber. Not exactly the Society of Stealth.
