What was truly remarkable was that he was fishing in a stream near his nest (see next photo), and I mean actually "fishing," throwing "bait" into the water and waiting for the minnows to come up. Hey, if crows can play games, and seagulls can drop clams onto cement to crack them open, then some bird has to be the Issac Walton of the aviary set.
